Test images that reveal mistakes
Use an illustrative white mug, a glass vase and a tote with thin handles. A clean background can still hide a damaged contour. Look for missing handle sections, changes in transparency and altered product colors. These are editorial checks rather than a claim that every image can be processed equally well.
| Area | What to inspect |
|---|---|
| Edges | Cropping, halos and missing sections |
| Details | Handles, closures, labels and fine patterns |
| Color | A match to the original product |
| Catalog mapping | The correct image for each product and variant |
Run a representative batch
- Save the original file and images.
- Confirm that the image URLs open without authentication.
- Supply a supported CSV, TSV, XLSX, XML or YML to Creora.
- Compare processed images with the originals at a useful zoom level and on contrasting backgrounds.
- Map the returned links into the correct fields of a current Shopify export when needed.
- Import a small group manually and inspect the storefront galleries and variants.
Prepare channel images deliberately
A transparent background and a white background are different outputs. Check the actual file and its intended use. For Google product images, follow the current main image requirements, including restrictions on promotional overlays and watermarks. An image suitable for an advertising creative is not automatically suitable as the primary product image.
Do not publish a result that changes the shape of the mug or removes part of the tote. Use a better original or another preparation method. The purpose is to isolate the product while preserving an accurate view.
Creora has no Shopify app or automatic API write back. It returns a rewritten file, and the merchant checks its import format. Keep the original export until the test products and their variants have passed review. A successful test image does not establish quality across the entire catalog.
Next step
Check Creora capabilities and current pricing and the Shopify file workflows. Start with a representative batch and review the result before expanding.
Sources and verification
Checked November 4, 2026. Platform documentation describes platform rules, not StoreNex capabilities. StoreNex claims were checked against the November 3 compatibility matrix. Product examples are illustrative.
- Shopify bulk background removal should begin with difficult product photos, followed by a check of edges, color and fine details.
FAQ
Supply a supported file with accessible URLs, process a representative batch and compare it with the originals. Creora returns a file with replacement links. The merchant reviews the format and publishes the results.
PNG and WebP can support transparency. Check the actual file rather than relying on its extension. Follow the destination platform and channel requirements for the main product image.
For Creora’s file workflow, supply a supported source, review the images and map the returned links to Shopify’s import format. This does not use a Creora Shopify app or automatic API publishing.
